I i connect wires from a 31VDC power source to 24VDC battery pack,?

What would this do?
Would it charge the batteries?

okay listen ,yes it will charge the battery, but it will not live very long
being charged at a higher voltage, because Ohm’s law states the higher the voltage the lower the amperage., always
if it is RC stuff… bad, bad, bad…
liquid filled… DANGER
there are different kinds of rechargables
BE frikin carefull!!!!!

IT WOULD CHARGE THE BATTERY TO SOMEWHERE ABOVE 24 BUT NOT 31. THE BATTERY WAS DESIGNED TO BE CHARGED TO 24V AND WILL NOT WITHSTAND GREATER VOLTAGE FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. I’M ASSUMING THIS IS A RECHARGABLE BATTERY PACK.

FYI FOLKS, I HAVE BEEN RECHARGING ALKALINE BATTERIES FOR YEARS WITH MUCH SUCCESS.

    1. You will definately let the smoke escape from the wires and maybe the batteries also. Do not do this at home. Don’t forget to read the instructions, wear your safery glasses, obey all safety rules and don’t forget to review your procedure with a qualified professional.

    2. Not as good as a REAL charger! Spend a few bucks and get the correct charger, you cheap skate!
