Where can I find a 24VDC 3A Power Supply for relatively cheap?

I need a 24VDC 3amp power supply

do a search on google, there are lots.

hints: it may be cheaper to get 2 12 volt supplies and put them in series. 12 volt supplies are a lot more common.

Also, find your average current. If you are only firing the stepping motor say 20% of the time, then you only need a 1 amp supply and a large 25 volt capacitor to store energy.

Without knowledge of input power requirement and quality of regulation or safety feature, that would be futile to search.

They have 3A and 5A. You want the 5A with 0-50 Volts. Check it out. It might be 60 volt. They are the cheapest I’ve found and use them for all my electronics stuff. It least check their prices.

That old computer gathering dust in the closet has a wonderful power supply. But only 12 volts. The 5 volt output provides many amps. Look at its nameplate.
