thanks, but this isn’t a side by side. It’s an older model too, if that helps. I basically just want to reset it to see if it helps. If not i’m probably just going to get a new one.

Not sure about that model, but my Whirlpool side by side was in the freezer section at the top. There was a panel that I had to remove to get to the timer. If you don’t see a panel in the freezer section, look on the top of the refrigerator section. Its there somewhere.

What if a clock could count down to the moment you meet your soul mate? In this alternate version of present day Los Angeles, a revolutionary device called the TiMER fulfills this very fantasy. For a reasonable installation fee and a moderate monthly charge, a TiMER is implanted in the wrist and promises to accurately display the number of days, hours, minutes and seconds until the owners date with destiny. However, things arent so easy for Oona OLeary (EMMA CAULFIELD, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Oona faces the rare dilemma of a blank TiMER; her soul mate—whoever and wherever he is—doesnt have a TiMER. While her family and friends move through life with predetermined romantic fates, Oona searches for her perfect match via the process of elimination, tentatively dating TiMER—less men, but never getting emotionally invested. Often, Oona even convinces her suitors to get TiMERs, only to have her hopes crushed time and time again. Staring down the barrel of thirty and tired of waiting for her would—be life partner to get off the dime, Oona breaks her own rules and falls for Mikey (JOHN PATRICK AMEDORI, Gossip Girl), a charming and inappropriately young supermarket clerk with a countdown of four months. But what will happen when those four months are up? Only when Oona ignores the ticking clock can she finally experience the exhilarating and unpredictable hot mess that is love.

We checked the breaker first, but it seems to not be a power problem as we hear the timer part making its noise when the timer option is selected and try to start it. Other then that, no movement, no noise.
Resolved. Thanks for all the answers, but it was even simpler then I had hoped. I posted the question based on comments from my spouse. When I got home and checked it out, it was simply that the knob to turn it on, was not turning the bar inside. A simple adjustment and all is well.

Stephen, You haven’t mentioned whether this is an electric dryer or a gas unit. It does make a difference in the diagnosis procedure, and what do you mean by "the timer makes its noise when the timer option is selected and you try to start it? There is no timer option on any dryer that I’m familiar with. We need a little more information before we can intelligently give you a decent answer.

And Bonzo, you need to check the door switch on your dryer.

Like you know when you put on a timer when you take group pictures and things of that nature. When you do there is a warning light that always go off. I was wondering how do i turn it off. You dont have to have the same camera as me but i have a Panasonic Digital Camera. I just want to know how you turn it off on yours so i can see if i can turn it off the same way on mines.

I don’t think that you can.
On some cameras there is a button on the body that sets the timer, and maybe while the timer is counting down you can press it again to cancel the whole timer and warning light process.

On some other cameras of even the same brand, the timer is set by entering the MENU to set the timer, but once you press the shutter, the menu may not be accesible, until the picture is completed. In this case, just delete the bad picture later.

It helps to learn a bit about it, you know.

Page 22 tells you how to do it.

If you have lost your manual, you can download it again from Sony. Took me about a minute to find it.

I want to translate assembly program to C program so that I can use it for the above mentioned micro controller. If anyone of you know how to translate, then please do tell me. Thank you. If any other information you need related to the circuit please ask about it.

If the compiler supports inline assembly, just use that:

#asm
<your assembly language program here>
#endasm

Otherwise, the only way is to write a timer program using your knowledge of the 89C52 architecture. (It’s a lot easier in assembly than in C, since C has very little to do with the chip.)

This shaman wanted a custom timer bar that was NOT part of Shock And Awe for the duration of Feral Spirits – our companion Ghost Wolves.

I had liquid detergent spill over the side of my stacked washer/dryer. The detergent leaked behind the control board and caused corrosion of the wires connected to the timer. How do I fix this, and at what cost?

If the wires are corroded, they will have to be replaced in order for the timer to work properly. Depending on how old the dryer is and what brand it is, you could try to remove the panel and replace the wires yourself by going to a hardware store. Calling a technician might cost up to $200.

If you want to do this yourself:
Unplug the dryer, and remove the control panel. You should be able to see where the wires begin and end. If you are able to remove them by removing just a screw, you will be lucky and then you can take them to the store to find a replacement. You may have to replace connectors, which may be more complex and require a professional.

Don’t be afraid to try!
