where can i find a wiring diagram for a series hybrid electric vehicle ?

i am planning to make a series hybrid electric vehicle , i just am confused as how the generator will be wired to the batteries so that it will charge them and how the batteries will power the car at the same time while getting charged from the generator

basically where can i find a detailed wiring diagram for making a series hybrid car , more detailed the better

The electric cars that use regenerative braking are relatively complicated, using 3 phase A.C. motors and computerized controllers. The majority of straight electric car conversions use DC motors and pre-made commercial controller electronics, it can be expensive to prototype and test control circuits that deal with 10s of kilowatts.

There are some pricey IEEE books that might get into the nuts and bolts…

Here’s a straight how to book (at amazon)

I need the electrical diagram. Putting a charger on with the positive and negative poles revised would be bad?

I need the electrical diagram for a Husky Jump-Start Systems, model HSK012HD. I have a replacement charger but the positive and negative poles may be revised. It would be bad to use this charger.
The replacement charger is a generic model, the positive and negitive poles can be revirsed with a simple switch.

Why would the poles be reversed? There is no reason for a charger not to have the correct polarity markings.

Get a $10 voltmeter and check the polarity if you still have doubts. The schematic ("electrical diagram") won’t guarantee the poles are not miswired.

convert 24vdc to 10 vdc?

Is it possible to take a 24vdc power source and reduce the voltage down to 10vdc? I have a 0-10vdc analog input card for a PLC with a potentiometer for a variable 0-10vdc input. I want to avoid buying a 10vdc power supply and use the 24vdc one I have in my panel. I think it is possible with a resistor in series with the POT but I must be using ohms law wrong.

Well, since you are just inputting a signal to a probably relatively high (and relatively constant) impedance ADC input the inefficiency of a resistor voltage divider is not too important. If you put a fixed resistor with 1.4 times the resistance of the "pot" in series with it, it should work pretty well but noise may be an issue, depending on what sort of other loads are being supplied by your 24V supply. You might want to look into a zeneer regulator, as that may work better, but you asked about resistors, and resistors could be used .
For example, assuming the input impedance of your ADC is so high we can ignore it (probably not really true, but maybe close enough) if you have a 10k pot in series with a 14k fixed resistor, the current will be 24V/24000Ohms = 1mA: 1mA * 10ohms = 10V.
You’d want to put the fixed resistor between the +24V and one end of the pot, and take the output signal from the slider of the pot, with the common of the 24V supply and the ADC common connected together.

How do you turn off the warning flash when you set a timer on your camera?

Like you know when you put on a timer when you take group pictures and things of that nature. When you do there is a warning light that always go off. I was wondering how do i turn it off. You dont have to have the same camera as me but i have a Panasonic Digital Camera. I just want to know how you turn it off on yours so i can see if i can turn it off the same way on mines.

I don’t think that you can.
On some cameras there is a button on the body that sets the timer, and maybe while the timer is counting down you can press it again to cancel the whole timer and warning light process.

On some other cameras of even the same brand, the timer is set by entering the MENU to set the timer, but once you press the shutter, the menu may not be accesible, until the picture is completed. In this case, just delete the bad picture later.

In web where I can find electrical wiring diagram of Primary resistance starter and Autotransformer starter?

How can fault find in wiring diagram of Primary resistance starter and Autotransformer starter? What is main problem if when pressing switch it on but when left thumb from switch it off? Its no/nc problem or timer problem?

The problem could be that there is a run/jog switch that is set to jog or there are terminals for a run/jog switch but no switch installed and no jumper wire to replace the switch. There could be some other wiring error, bad connection or bad relay. If the starter is designed to require hoding the button until the starting sequence is complete, there could be a timer problem. You should get a diagram for the specific starter with the problem.

Here are links to some typical diagrams:

I lost the fuse diagram on the fuse box for my car. How can I find out which fuses belong where, on the web?

I have a 95 nissan maxima and need to find a fuse diagram chart for the interior fuse box. I dont have the user manuel. Where can I find this on the web?

http://www.nissanusa.com/apps/contactus

is the NISSAN contact us page.
Ask them if you can get a soft copy sent to your email.
(they might have what you want online, but i have my doubts.)

On the other hand, your local Nissan repair place would HAVE to have a chart or something, for when they were making repairs. Maybe they would let you copy it.

I have got a machine where the manufacturer has used a SMPS for DC output voltage?

1) SMPS details Input voltage:230V AC and Output Voltage required:24V DC 6Amps. They have used the DC voltage for switching ON of the solenoids(24VDC).
2) The SMPS is connected with a capacitor (2200mF) across the output Voltage (24V+ and 24V-). What is the use of the capacitor?
3) If the capacitor is uninstalled what would be the output?
4) How is the Capacitor discharged?
5) Should the terminal 24V- at the SMPS be earthened?
Should the negative of the SMPS be ground??

SMPS = Switched Mode Power Supply

2) Capacitor is used to provide initial surge of current need to change the state of the solenoid. It also filters the current waveform coming out of the SMPS’ inductor.

3) If the capacitor is removed, the SMPS may not operate correctly, as it typically uses a feedback sense voltage to control the switching. It is hard to say what you would see, but I would not do this.

4) Capacitor is discharged by the solenoid load, but also by the SMPS, which provides current TO and FROM the capacitor. This is true if the SMPS has a TOP FET and BOT FET which are switched ON at different times.

5) You may connect the -24V on the SMPS to ground, if the solenoid has its return grounded. If the solenoid has two wires, just connect both -24V and +24V wires to the solenoid.

How do I set a sony cyber shot camera to a self timer?

I need to set my camera to a self timer so u can press the button and it takes the picture a certain amount of second later. Its a DSCW55 Mpegmovie VX camera. Please help.

Have you ever considered reading the manual for your camera?
It helps to learn a bit about it, you know.

Page 22 tells you how to do it.

If you have lost your manual, you can download it again from Sony. Took me about a minute to find it.
