How do I work the custom self timer on my Canon powershot SD1000?

I’ve read my advanced manual but I can’t find the info I need. I’ve figured out the 10 second and 2 second timer but I want to know how to set up the custom self timer for multiple shots.

if all canon menu is the same, then to the right of the 2 seconds timer, there’s a custom setting timer…

you need to push the menu button to set the time & the number of shots you need to shoot…
